Sports Event Funding (SEF) Program Press Release

The SEA announces its second 2025 Sports Event Funding (SEF) Program application submission period. Applications will be accepted from Sunday, June 15, 2025, through Tuesday, July 15, 2025, at 3:00 PM.

SEA, Stadium Authority, and Sports Commission board meetings will be held as noted below. Procedures for public participation can be found by clicking the hyperlink. 

An SEA Board Meeting will be held on Thursday, July 10, 2025, at 10:30 AM in the David L. Lawrence Convention Center, Room 405. There will be no Zoom component for this meeting.

The Sports & Exhibition Authority (SEA) is governed by a seven member Board of Directors appointed by both the County of Allegheny and the City of Pittsburgh. The SEA's existence is pursuant to the Sports and Exhibition Authority Act (16 P.S. Section 5502-A et seq.).

The Stadium Authority is a sister agency to the SEA. It is governed by a five member Board of Directors appointed by the City of Pittsburgh and also exists pursuant to the Sports and Exhibition Authority Act (16 P.S. Section 5502-A et seq.).
